From your first visit to collecting your renewed passport — here's exactly what to expect when you work with us.
Visit Our Office
Bring your three documents to our office. No appointment necessary — walk-ins are welcome during business hours.
We Verify & Prepare
We check that all documents meet requirements, complete the application forms on your behalf, and prepare your submission package.
We Submit for You
We submit your completed application.
Collect Your Passport
Once your new passport is ready, you will pick it up from the passport office.
Documents Required
Gather these three items and bring them to our office. We’ll verify everything, prepare your application, and handle the submission on your behalf.
Birth Certificate (or Adoption Certificate, or Citizenship Certificate)
An original document confirming your Jamaican citizenship. Note: if your name has not changed since your last passport was issued, the birth certificate may not be required.
Passport Photos
Two identical, professionally produced colour photographs taken against a white background, meeting PICA’s official photo specifications.
Current or Expired Passport
Your existing Jamaican passport, whether still valid or expired.
Proof of Name Change (if applicable)
If your name has changed since your last passport, you must provide original supporting documentation such as a marriage certificate, deed poll, divorce decree, or court order.

Do you handle new passport applications?
No — at this time we only process renewals for adult Jamaican passport holders. We do not handle first-time applications, child passports, or emergency travel documents.
Do I need to make an appointment?
No appointment is needed. You can walk in during our regular business hours with your three documents and we'll get you started right away. If you're unable to visit during business hours, contact us and we can arrange for you to come in after hours at a time that works for you.
How long does it take to get my passport?
Processing times are determined by PICA and can vary. We'll give you an estimated timeline when you visit and keep you updated throughout the process.
Can you help with a cild's passport?
No — we do not process passport applications or renewals for children or minors (under 18). Our service is exclusively for adult Jamaican passport renewals.
