How We Collect Your Personal Data

04

How and Why We Use Your Personal Data

The DPA requires that we process your personal data lawfully, fairly, and for specified purposes. The table below sets out our purposes and the lawful basis for each:

Where our lawful basis is consent, you are free to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We do not sell your personal data. We require all third parties to respect the security of your data and to process it in accordance with the law.

06

International Transfers of Data

Travel is global, and fulfilling your booking often requires us to send your personal data outside of Jamaica — for example, to an overseas airline, hotel, or destination authority.

In line with the DPA, we transfer personal data to a country or territory outside Jamaica only where there is an adequate level of protection for your rights, or where another condition permitted under the Act applies (for example, that the transfer is necessary to perform our contract with you, or you have consented to the transfer). Where appropriate, we put contractual safeguards in place with the recipients of your data.

07

How Long We Keep Your Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, tax, or reporting requirements.

When personal data is no longer required, we securely delete, destroy, or anonymise it.
