Spend six days in Medellín, the Colombian city nestled in a lush valley at 1,500 metres, where the temperature never strays far from perfect and the energy is impossible to ignore.
Ride cable cars over green hillsides, walk through the transformed streets of Comuna 13, climb 740 steps to the summit of Piedra del Peñol in Guatapé, and cruise the turquoise reservoir by boat. In between, eat your way through bandeja paisa, fresh arepas, street-side empanadas, and some of the best coffee you’ll ever taste.

Do I need a Visa?
No. Jamaican citizens can enter Colombia visa-free and stay for up to 90 days. You just need a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining from your travel date.
Can I bring my child on this trip?
Our group trips are designed for adults only (18+). This allows us to curate the itinerary, pace, and social experience with an adult group in mind — including nightlife options, restaurant selections, and activity levels. If you need help arranging a separate family trip to Medellín, we’d be happy to assist through our travel planning service.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund (minus $100 admin fee) up to 120 days before departure. 50% refund between 120 and 60 days. No refund within 60 days of departure. Transferring your spot to another traveler is permitted at any time
How much spending money should I budget?
Colombia is very affordable. We recommend budgeting US$40–60 per day for meals, drinks, and extras. A full dinner at a nice restaurant in Medellín can run as low as US$10–15, and street food is even cheaper. If you plan to shop or add optional activities, budget a bit more.
Can I extend my stay?
Absolutely. Many travelers add extra days in Guatemala City, Flores, or fly to Belize. Our team can help plan post-trip extensions, including accommodation and transport recommendations.
Is this trip suitable for solo travelers?
Absolutely. Most of our group members travel solo — it’s one of the best parts of a group trip. You’ll be paired with a roommate unless you opt for the single supplement. Group meals and shared activities make it easy to connect with everyone from day one.
What's included in the trip cost?
The trip cost covers roundtrip flights from Kingston, airport transfers in Medellín, accommodation for the duration of the trip, daily breakfast, and all scheduled tours including the Guatapé day trip (Piedra del Peñol and the colorful town), the Comuna 13 graffiti and street art tour, and a local food tour. A group WhatsApp and pre-trip planning support are also included.
